Williamsburg- Wilma F. Glandorf of Williamsburg and formerly of Cedar Rapids died Sunday, February 11, 2024 at the Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg at the age of 98.
Wilma Glandorf was born November 3, 1925, near South Amana, Iowa, the daughter of Rudolf and Lydia (Doehrmann) Glandorf. She attended Immanuel Lutheran School. Wilma worked for Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids for many years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Wilma enjoyed speaking German and doing things with her twin sister.
She is survived by two nephews, Gerald Matthess of Orlando, Florida and Gene Matthess of Fairfax. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Roma Glandorf and Alma Matthess.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be 10:30 am Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in rural Williamsburg. A memorial fund has been established for Immanuel Lutheran Church or Iowa City Hospice. Messages may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com. Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg is caring for Wilma and her family.
