Wilma Donetta Mast was born February 22, 1924 in Jet, Oklahoma the daughter of Samuel and Iva (Miller) Troyer. She graduated from high school in Harper, Kansas. In the early 1950's she worked at a children's home in Kansas City. She was married on November 3, 1956 to Alvin Mast and later divorced. She moved to rural Kinross in 1959 where she was a homemaker and baby sat for many years. She was a member of the Wellman Mennonite Church. Wilma died on Monday, January 14, 2008 at her daughter's home in rural Keswick following a brief illness at the age of 83 years. Wilma is survived by three children - Rita Fowler and husband Terry of Keswick; Rollin Mast and wife Tammy of Kinross; Donna Mast of Littleton, Colorado; seven grandchildren - Trenton Fowler and wife Janae of Bettendorf; Ryan Fowler of Keswick; Amy Fowler of Chicago, IL.; Ben Mast, Chelsy Mast, Courtney Mast, Maleah Mast all of Kinross; a great granddaughter - Ambria Fowler of Bettendorf; two brothers - Mervin Troyer of Hesston, Kansas; her twin Wilbur Troyer of Harper, Kansas; and a sister - Maurine Zimmerman of Harper, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial fund has been established for Wellman Mennonite Church and Keokuk County Hospice.
