William "Bill" Clark Bringman, age 70, of Wellman, Iowa, died Thursday, February 18, 2021, in his home in Wellman.
Bill was born December 27, 1950, in Wellman, Iowa, the son of Toney O. and Della Marie (Butterbaugh) Bringman. He attended school in Wellman, Iowa, and graduated from Mid-Prairie High School in 1969. He was united in marriage to Thelda Aggson.
Bill was a life resident of Washington County. Following high school graduation, Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from February 16, 1970 to September 19, 1971. He received a diploma from The U.S. Army Transportation School in 1970 and a Vietnam Combat Certificate from the 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile) and The Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Achievement in 1971.
Upon his return home, Bill joined his brother, Dick, and worked construction until his retirement. He received Iowa Quality Initiative Structures Awards in 1996 and 1998 in recognition of superior quality of workmanship.
Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching TV and his Pepsi, beer and cigarettes.
Those who rejoice his heavenly arrival are his parents; sisters, Helen Baker and Ruth Herr; brothers, Oren and Richard Bringman; and infant brother, Enos Bringman.
Those left to mourn his passing are his wife; daughter, Jody Kinzenbaw Wagner of North English; step-daughter Dawn Smith of Wellman; sister, Alice Boldt of Portland, Oregon; brother, Owen Bringman of Aurora, Colorado; brother, Jimmie Bringman of Riverside, Iowa; brother, Joshua Bringman and wife Golda of Kinross, Iowa; sister, Mary Cobb of Haslett, Texas; and sister, Eva Kay Stewart and husband Larry of Smyrna, Georgia; as well as several extended family members.
A celebration of life service will take place later this year when all his family can come together.
