Willard A. Gingerich , of Kalona, died Saturday, October 7, 2006 in Pleasantview Home, after a extended illness at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 14 days. He is survived by two sons: Clarence Gingerich of Bristol, Indiana; Dale and wife Elaine Gingerich of Kokomo, Indiana; a daughter: Carolyn and husband Alvin Geigley of Kalona; a daughter-in-law: Ida Gingerich of Nappanee, Indiana; six grandchildren: Paul and wife Ruthann Gingerich, Michael and wife Rebeca Gingerich, Charlene and husband Jeremy Sitkowski, Gareth Gingerich, Lisa and husband Sam Beachy and Jessica Gingerich; four great grandchildren: Drew and Logan Gingerich, Kezia Gingerich and Ashton Beachy; two sisters: Esther Miller of Kalona and Edna Beachy of Stephensport, Kentucky. Willard was preceded in death by his parents, wife Susie in 2001; two brothers: Joe and Chris Gingerich; five sisters: Barbara, Katie and Magdalena Bender, Esther Miller and Edna Beachy and a grandson Larry Gingerich. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at the Sharon Bethel Church near Kalona. Ministers in charge are Delmar Bontrager and Jacob Yoder. Burial will be in the North Gingerich Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday at the Church.
