Wanda Sue Imhoff, age 59, of Williamsburg, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 in her home, surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2020, at the First United Methodist Church, Marengo, with Pastor Lisa Crow officiating. Family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m, Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church, Marengo. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Wanda is survived by her children Missty Imhoff, of Oxford, and Aaron and Elizabeth Imhoff, of Marengo; six grandchildren Austin, Andrew, Emily, Easton, Christian and Caelab; one great grandson; her father Kenneth (Dorene) Wilcox, of Victor; four siblings Annette (Bill) Comer, of New Boston, IL, Max (Kim) Wilcox, of Ottawa, Tennessee, Michelle (Jeff) Hawkins, of Ladora and Bradley (Holly) Wilcox, of Ladora; and her significant other of 20 years Harry Thomas. She is preceded in death by her mother Raelene and a granddaughter Alysa Raelene.
Wanda Wilcox was born October 11, 1960, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Kenneth and Raelene Ann (Taylor) Wilcox. She grew up in Springville and later attended the Iowa Valley schools in Marengo. She worked at the Ox Yoke Restaurant in Amana. Wanda enjoyed doing crafts, gardening, canning tomatoes, watching T.V., and spending time with her grandchildren. She especially loved to cook and bake. Decorating cakes was her specialty and she made the best rye bread.
