Conroy--Terry Lee Schulz, was born January 11, 1960, in Waverly, Iowa, the son of Melvin Jacob and Karen Ann (Buhr) Schulz. He was a graduate of Waverly Shell-Rock High School, University of Northern Iowa and the Business Institute of Technology, Cedar Falls. On March 12, 1983, he married Susan Turner, they were later divorced. He married Dianne Kay Hardy on February 8, 1997, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He worked for J.B. Hunt, Williamsburg Manufacturing, and was an independent agent at Schulz Insurance Agency in Conroy. He enjoyed motorcycling, car shows and his cigar box collections. Terry died on Friday, December 10, 2010, at the Waverly Heath Center, Waverly, Iowa, at the age of 50 years. He is survived by his wife Diane Schulz of Conroy; children: Megan Schulz of Conroy, Jesse Schulz, and Daman Schulz all of Cedar Rapids; a grandson Fox Chekota of Cedar Rapids; step children: Christopher Perry, Teresa Perry and Jeffrey Perry; step grandchildren: Felisha Campbell, April and Andrew Perry and Alisha Perry; his parents Karen and Donald Neil; a brother Tod (Anna) Schulz; a sister: Kimberly Schulz (Britt Marcussen) and a sister-in-law Deanna Schulz; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Melvin Schulz; a brother Tracy Schulz; and his grandparents. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 1:30 P.M. on Friday, December 17, 2010, at the Powell Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Williamsburg. Pastor Miles Renaas will officiate.
