Teenie L. Frazer, 80, of Bonaparte, IA, died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. The body has been cremated. A private family service will be held. Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements. Born August 11, 1933, in Hugo, OK, Teenie Lee was the daughter of Arthur and Leona Lee (Counts) Mays. Her formative years were spent in Hugo, OK where she attended the local schools. On January 27, 1975, she married David Frazer in Ohio. He preceded her in death on September 24, 2005. As a young girl, Teenie picked cotton in the fields of Oklahoma. Later, while living in Minnesota, she worked as an aide in a nursing home. Always a homemaker, she took care of her family needs. Being fond of the outdoors, she loved fishing in the Des Moines River and gardening. A favorite hobby was doing crafts. Survivors include three daughters, Pam (Randy) Gray of Belle, MO, Belinda Fox of Davenport, IA, and Tammy (Justin) Haynes of Bonaparte, IA; two sons, Joe Walker of Webb City, MO, and James Walker of Montana; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents; two sons, Johnny Greeley and Jerry Walker; and a granddaughter, Jackie Douthart.
