Tae Marie (Lafevers) Campbell, age 59, of Wellman Iowa passed away on January 19 2019.
She was born June 28th 1959 to Dewie Lafevers and Betty Joan (Greer) Lafevers of Portland, Oregon. Tae grew up in Bingen, WA the oldest of four daughters. She graduated from Columbia High School in 1976, and then attended Brigham Young University-Hawaii. It was in Hawaii that she met her future loving husband Douglas Dean Campbell and they were married on December 8, 1978 in the Idaho Falls temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and Doug were blessed with eight children. Her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life. Tae was a mother and friend to all she met. Tae was an active member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings within the church that she loved. Her life was spent in quiet service, but it had a great impact on all those who were blessed to know her.
Tae is survived by her loving husband Douglas Campbell of Wellman, IA, her son Neal (Whitney) Campbell of Wellman; her 5 daughters Amy (Allen) Overy of Williston,ND, Jodi (Scott) Baldwin of Muscatine, Jessica (Bryan) Overy of Wellman, Bethany (Mark) Lingard of Kinross, Erin Campbell of Wellman; her parents Dewie and Betty Lafevers of Bingen, WA; And 3 sisters Diann (Doug) Choi of Washugal, WA; Laural (Scott) Marler of Knoxville, TN; Crystal (Clarence) Schwalger, Washington, UT, and her 21 grandchildren; Emmaline Campbell, Aiden Campbell of Mt Vernon, IA, Grant, Makenna, Colton, Justin, and Holly Overy of ND, Meredith, Lillian, Bennett, Foster Campbell of Wellman, IA, Olivia and Abigail Baldwin of Muscatine, IA, Patrick, Jeremy, Greta, Taelee, Conner Overy of Wellman, IA and Maudette, Ward, Georgianna Lingard of Kinross, IA. She was proceeded in death by her son Aric Campbell in 2015, and her son Ryan Campbell in 2017, and grandchild Rowan Lingard.
Funeral Service will be 1:30 pm Sunday, January 27, 2019 at The Church Of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Washington, Iowa. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 pm Saturday at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman.
