Susan Lynn Thompson

WELLMAN - Susan Lynn Thompson was born July 10, 1948 in Ohio, the daughter of Carl and Jean (Stewart) Mayer. She served in the United States Marine Corp and the Army National Guard. She married Joel John Thompson III in 1967. Susan worked as a clerk for the city of Austin, Texas for many years. She has lived in Ohio, Texas, Florida and Iowa for the last 25 years. Susan died on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Parkview Manor in Wellman at the age of 69 years.
Susan is survived by 2 daughters: Laura Fausnaugh of Cedar Rapids, Jennifer Elder of Fairfield; 7 grandchildren; a sister Kathy Pileggi; and 4 brothers: Greg Mayer of Ohio, Carl Mayer of Florida, Kenneth Mayer of Florida, and Steven Mayer of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joel.
