Steven J Lockhart

Webster- Steven Jan Lockhart, was born January 4, 1955,in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Henry Jack & Pauline Marie (Summit) Lockhart. He attended school in Iowa & Texas. He was a truck driver for Dickie Transport for many years. On May 15, 2010, he was united in marriage to Deb K. Crans in South English. Steven was a member of the South English Baptist Church, the Studebaker Club and the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, auto mechanics, music, going to concerts and spending time with family and friends, especially his granddaughter Shelby. Steven passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015, in Webster at the age of 60 years.

He is survived by his wife: Deb Lockhart of Edgerton, WI; two sons: Jeremy Baird (Fiancé Tara Neal) of Webster, and Michael Riden (Fiancé Sharon House) of Grinnell; three grandchildren: Chandler Thomas, Shelby Baird and Cameron Riden; a grandson on the way: Noah Riden; and his father Henry Lockhart of Hurst, TX. He was preceded by his grandparents and his mother.

Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at the Powell Funeral Home, North English. Pastor Joe Winkler will officiate. Burial will be in the North English Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 12:00 PM until service time at 1:00 PM. A general memorial fund has been established.
