Sheila D. Kruse

Sheila D. Kruse, age 53, of Williamsburg passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Rose Haven Nursing Home, Marengo. Memorial service: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with Pastor Daniel Jessop officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m., until service time on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. A memorial fund has been established.

Sheila is survived by her husband Richard of Williamsburg; her siblings Brian Doehrmann, Jay (Marsha) Doehrmann, Tony (Carrie) Doehrmann, Sara (Derek) Grubb and Stacey Doehrmann; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Sheila Dawn Doehrmann was born November 27, 1968, in Williamsburg, the daughter of Lloyd and Claudia Newkirk Doehrmann. She graduated from Williamsburg high school and then attended Kirkwood Community College. Sheila was united in marriage to Richard Kruse on July 1, 1995, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. She worked at NCS Pearson’s in Cedar Rapids checking test scores, and at Brothers Market in Williamsburg in the deli. Sheila enjoyed reading Debbie McCormick books and watching game shows on TV. She especially enjoyed going fishing with Richard.
