Shaun A. Jones

Shaun A. Jones, age 54, of Marengo passed away Monday, March 11, 2024. Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Marengo American Legion, Marengo.  Memorials may be sent in care of Shaun to Kloster Funeral Home at 298 W. Washington St. Marengo, Iowa 52301. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is caring for Shaun and his family.

Shaun is survived by his lifelong partner Kelly Voigtman; his children, Alysia (Quinn) Seaver, Cody Jones and Morgan (Michael) Jones-Johnson; five grandchildren, Oberon and Arthur Seaver and Patrick, Jaxon, and Junior Johnson; siblings, Michael (Michelle) Azevedo, Claude (Kathy) Jones, Rick Klever and Heather Frondle. Also surviving Shaun are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister-in-law Brandy Klever.

Shaun Adrian Jones was born August 12, 1969, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Allan and Marion Balentine Jones. He graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1988. After high school Shaun enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. Shaun owned and operated Dr. Jones Roofing for over 30 years. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and spending time in his jon boat fishing on the Iowa River. Shaun especially loved all the time he spent with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
