Scott White

Scott White, age 57, of Marengo, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023. A visitation will be held for Scott from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. Inurnment will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Williamsburg at a later date. A memorial fund has been established. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is assisting the family with arrangements.

Scott is survived by his children Elliott White of Conroy, Wyatt White of Marengo, Bobbi White of Williamsburg and Ashley Dewar of Iowa City; two grandchildren Sammy Herrera and Aaliyah Irvin; his wife Jewel White; his siblings Jeff (Jamie) White of Virginia, Kim (Jeff) Doehrmann of Parnell, and Rick (Deb) White of Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Terry and Karen White and stepfather Keith Lackore.

Scott White was born September 22, 1966, the son of Terry and Karen Goody White. He grew up in West Liberty attending West Liberty high school. Scott started hauling grain at a young age, driving truck and making his career. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, camping and collecting Hot Wheels. Scott loved music, especially classic rock. In his leisure time, Scott liked tinkering with cars, especially working on his 1974 Chevy. Scott didn’t care about what anyone said or thought; no matter what he always spoke his mind. He loved to party, let loose and have a good time. He was loved and will be missed.
