Sawyer Lorenze Henry Schlatter, one month old, died at his home, in rural Mt. Pleasant, IA, Saturday March 25, 2017.Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Olson~Powell Memorial Chapel from 5-7:00 p.m. The family will be present at that time. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Olson~Powell Memorial Chapel, with the Revs. Carl and Elaine Vass officiating. He was a content baby who smiled a lot and looked around with his big blue eyes.Survivors include his mother and father; a sister, Scarlett Schlatter; his grandparents, Jerry (Angie) Guengerich of Washington, IA, Darin (Megan) Schlatter of Trenton, MO, Shelly Jones Johnson of Georgia, and Danny (Jennifer) Brown of Alabama; and his great-grandparents, Emil (Phyllis) Schlatter of Mt. Pleasant, IA, Wilson (Karen) Guengerich of Washington, IA, and Cindy Henry of Burlington, IA. He is also survived by twelve aunts and uncles, Trevor Schlatter, Chloe (Shane) Barnes, Jack (Jenna) Guengerich, Chloe (Larry) Schlatter, Linda Jones, Russel Bowen, Richard Bowen, Tessa Schlatter, Cavin Schlatter, Xander Schlatter, Audi Schlatter, and Aries Schlatter; and three cousins, Hunter Barnes, Kooper Barnes, and Jeremiah Guengerich.
