Sawyer Reign Springsteen

IOWA CITY-Sawyer Reign Springsteen, seven month old son of Chase and Megan Springsteen, of Iowa City, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
Sawyer was born March 7, 2017, in Iowa City. He loved to go on walks, watch his favorite movie, "Angry Birds," and splash water all over the bathroom when he took a bath. He liked to roll around the entire living room and pinch Mom and Dad with his toes.
Survivors include his parents: Chase and Megan Springsteen of Iowa City; grandparents: Dan and Melinda Watson of Keota, Kim and Jeff Houtz of Burlington and Mark and Jessica Springsteen of Burlington; great grandparents: Darvin and Pauline Cave of South English and Lyda Springsteen of Burlington; aunts and uncles: Derek and Megan Watson of Keota, Bill and Amanda Smothers of Sigourney, Cameron Springsteen of Burlington, Gaby Houtz of Burlington and Gracie Lange of Burlington; cousins: Emma Adrian, Charli Smothers, Ike Watson, Dustin, Austin and Bryson Smothers. He was preceded in death by great grandparents: Ron Springsteen, Jackie Anderson, Warren Lundquist, Larry and Shirley Watson.

Memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota. Private family burial will be at Keota Cemetery.
