NEW SHARON-Sarah Lorraine Trower, age 73, of New Sharon, died Monday, December 18, 2006, at her daughter's home in New Sharon. Sarah was born October 26, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, to Gerard and Harriet (Walsh) PlochJ. She attended Talcott Grammar School and graduated from Wells Sr. High School and Washburn Trade School, all in Chicago. In 1951 she married Jerome Wrobel in Chicago. They were later divorced. On February 13, 1962, she married Warren Lundquist in Chicago. The couple lived in Michigan, then moved to Iowa where Sarah was an assistant manager at Nissen Corp., formerly of Cedar Rapids. Warren passed away in 1978. Sarah moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, where she worked for Hammonds Properties. She married Jerald John Trower on October 24, 1986 in Corpus Christi. The couple moved back to Iowa in 1994 and Jerald passed away in 2003. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and her family, especially spending time with her grandson, Sean. Survivors include two daughters: Cheryll Donahoe and husband Tom of Niles, Michigan and Elizabeth Lundquist of New Sharon; three grandchildren: Lance Hunt of Niles, Michigan, Laureen Jurgensen of Des Moines and Sean Lundquist of New Sharon; four sisters: Betty Vandagriff and husband Jim of Corpus Christi, Texas, Sharon Mears and husband Bob of Algonquin, Illinois, Berta Henning and husband Roger of Algonquin, Illinois and Cathy Reed and husband Gary of Lake in the Hills, Illinois; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands: Warren and Jerald. A memorial fund has been established for Hospice. Her body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time. Reynolds-Powell Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service in Sigourney is handling the arrangements.
