Ryan Christian Campbell

WELLMAN- Ryan Christian Campbell was born July 9, 1996 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Douglas and Tae (Lafevers) Campbell. He graduated from Mid-Prairie High School in 2014. Ryan was an active a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Washington. He was an Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scout's, enjoyed playing video games, reading, being outdoors and loved being with family. Ryan passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his home in Wellman at the age of 20 years.
Ryan is survived by his parents Doug and Tae Campbell of Wellman; a brother Neal (Whitney) Campbell of Wellman; 5 sisters: Amy (Allen) Overy of Riverton, WY, Jodi (Scott) Baldwin of Muscatine, Jessica (Bryan) Overy of Wellman, Bethany (Mark) Lingard of Kinross, Erin Campbell of Wellman; grandparents Cleo and Marilyn Campbell of Viborg, SD, Dewie and Betty Lafevers of Bingen, WA; and 18 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Aric Campbell in 2015.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 11, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Washington, Iowa. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. A general memorial fund has been established. Powell Funeral Home is caring for Ryan and his family.
