Memorial services for Rose Mary (Walle) Trieschmann, 79, Camdenton, MO, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Pleasant Hill Church in Joetown. Rev. Rich Pippert will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Rose passed away Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Kansas City Hospice House surrounded by her loving family and friends. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in the name of Rose Trieschmann be made to the Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64145. The Powell Funeral Home of Wellman is in charge of the arrangements. Rose was born June 28, 1930, in Chicago, the daughter of Charles and Mary Walle. She married Joseph 'Marlin' Trieschmann on March 25, 1950. Rose and Marlin farmed for many years near North English, Iowa, and was known for her large vegetable and flower gardens, her wonderful cooking and love for her family and friends. Her memory will be cherished by her children, son Tim and wife Marti of Fishers, IN, daughter Teri and husband Tim O'Donnell of Overland Park, KS, daughter Twila and husband Steven Ward, Lenexa, KS, brother Jay Walle and wife Nikki of Wood Dale, IL, 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many relatives and friends. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother. Rose loved spending time with her family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
