Rosalie Irene Fleming was born February 19, 1921 in Monongalia county West Virginia, the daughter of David and Cadira (McCormick) Hill. She graduated from Morgantown High School in 1940 in Morgantown, West Virginia. She lived in Detroit, Michigan where she worked as a secretary for Bundy Tubing and Chrysler Corporation. She later moved to Clear Water, Florida and had just moved to Wellman. At her 60th high school class reunion she was reunited with classmate C.O. "Bill" Fleming and they later married on October 27, 2000 in Midlothian, Texas. She was a member of the Church of The Brethren in St. Petersburg, Florida. Rosalie died on Monday, May 2, 2005 at Parkview Manor in Wellman following a brief illness at the age of 84 years. Rosalie is survived by her husband Bill Fleming of Wellman; a stepson Tom Fleming and wife Kay of Wellman; 2 stepdaughters - Bev Benner and husband Ed of Tiskilwa, Illinois; Jane Sylvester and husband Ralph of New York; 3 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; and a special friend Judy Meyers of Phoenix, Arizona. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents and a brother - James.
