HARPER-Robert Paul "Fin" Finders, age 51, of Harper, died Tuesday, January 31, 2006, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness. Bob was born March 24, 1954, in Washington, Iowa, to Keith and Mary (Jaeger) Finders and graduated from Keota High School. Following graduation he worked for W.C. Gretter and Sons Elevator in Harper. He then went to work for Ideal Ready Mix of Keota for 26 years. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushrooming, collecting and being with his friends. Survivors include his parents: Keith and Mary Finders of Harper; brother: Bill Finders and wife Sherri of Oskaloosa; sister: Mary Pat Redlinger of Keota; two nephews: Aaron Finders and wife Twilla of Vancouver, Washington and Trenton Redlinger of Keota; one niece: Jade Redlinger of Keota and one great niece: Julia Finders of Vancouver, Washington. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; brother: Steve and two nephews: Christopher Finders and Adam Finders. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2006, at the Holy Trinity Parish-St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Harper, with Rev. Marty Goetz officiating. Burial will be at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Harper. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2006, at the Powell Funeral Home in Keota, where there will be a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. A general memorial fund has been established. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota is handling the arrangements.
