Robert "Bob" Leroy Plank was born November 1, 1944, in Millersburg, Iowa the son of Lt. Robert Sr. and Mildred (Lortz) Plank. He graduated from North English High School in 1962. On January 28, 1965 he was united in marriage to Vickie Van Dee in Kinross. Bob has lived in the North English area all of his life. He worked at Amana Refrigeration for 37 years before retiring in 2001. Following his retirement he hauled seed for Novartis. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob died suddenly on Friday, June 24, 2005 at his home in North English at the age of 60 years. Bob is survived by his wife Vickie; a son - Forrest "Frosty" and wife Deanna; 2 grandchildren - Cameron and Georgeanna; his mother - Mildred and her husband Leelyn Miller; and a brother - Gary Miller and wife Janie all of North English; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a son Gary Michael Plank.
