Robert John Markwell

North English- Robert John Markwell was born on August 20, 1948, near North English, Iowa, the son of Max Wallace & Lucille Dorothy (Crawford) Markwell. The family lived on a farm north of North English, Robert and his brother Keith loved to follow their dad around and help with the chores. Following their mother's death, Robert and his brother Keith moved to Hillside Estates near Williamsburg, IA. In October 2007 they became residents of the English Valle Care Center, North English. Robert died on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City at the age of 66 years.

He is survived by several aunts and cousins. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brother Keith.
