Robert James Livingston Sr.

Robert James Livingston Sr., age 74, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City. Per the family's request there will be no services at this time. Memorials may be contributed to the family in Robert’s name. Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Robert was born on August 9, 1946, in Boston, MA., the son of Lawrence and Betty J. Barber Livingston. He grew up in Boston where he attended school. Robert joined the U.S. Army as a young man. After serving his country, Robert returned to Boston where he raised his family and worked in numerous capacities throughout the city of Boston. Robert was blessed with two daughters, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He loved to be outside and enjoyed taking walks. Upon retirement Robert and Helen moved to Arizona. After the death of his wife, Helen in 2020, Robert moved back to Brooklyn, Iowa to live with his daughter Dawn.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Helen.
