North English- Rickey Lee Dhondt, was born December 22, 1948, in Williamsburg, Iowa the son of Marvin James & Nedra (Claypool) Dhondt. He attended Williamsburg High School. Rick served in the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, Nascar and collecting coins and fishing reels. Rick died on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System, St. Cloud, MN, at the age of 64 years. He is survived by 4 children: Matthew Dhondt of North English, Jill Kuster of Hedrick, Jennifer (Ryan Jennings) Dhondt of Gibson and Adam (Ann Lyons) Dhondt of Williamsburg; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; his mother Nedra Dhondt of Parnell; a brother Jerry (Rita) Dhondt of Williamsburg; a sister Samra Ollendick of North Liberty and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his father Marvin and a brother-in-law Joe Ollendick. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time.
