Williamsburg- Randy Allen Carter, was born January 15, 1953, in Williamsburg, Iowa, the son of Eugene Arthur & Lilly (Teggatz) Carter. He was a graduate of Williamsburg High School and lived in the Williamsburg community his entire life. He worked for Iowa County Tire, Williamsburg. He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed car races, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Randy died on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at his home in Williamsburg, at the age of 58 years. He is survived by 2 daughters: Melissa Carter and Monica Carter both of Cedar Rapids; 2 stepchildren: Missty & Aaron Imhoff of Williamsburg; 4 grandchildren: Korderro Carter, Kaden Carter, LaTasia Martin and Jayden Carter; a great grandson Noah; his mother Lilly Carter of Williamsburg; and 4 brothers: Jerry Carter of Grand Prairie, TX, Arthur Carter of Harpers Ferry, IA, Lyle Carter of Williamsburg and Stanley Carter of Erath, LA. He was preceded in death by his father Eugene Carter. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, November 14, 2011, at the Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg. Pastor James Parks will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
