WELLMAN- Randall E. Bailey, was born October 29, 1947, in Yakimah, Washington the son of Lawrence and Mildred (Hahn) Bailey. He grew up in the Wellman and Washington communities. He graduated from Washington High School in 1966. On July 12, 1969, he was united in marriage to Beverly Backstrom, in Aitkin, Minnesota. He owned and operated Bailey's Quality Car Cleaning in Washington before retiring in 2007. He was a member of the Wellman Baptist Church and a member of A.A. for 34 years. Randall, died on Monday, July 28, 2008, at his home in Wellman, following at lengthy illness, at the age of 60 years. He is survived by 2 sons - Joseph L. Bailey of Wellman; Tony Carter of Missouri; a daughter- Serenity I. Bailey of Washington and 2 grandchildren- Mason Wagg and Donovan Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Rolina May "Bunny" Goodwin; and 4 brothers- Larry Bailey, Robert (Bob) Bailey, Walter Bailey and an infant brother. A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 3, 2008, at the Blair House in Washington, with a potluck to follow. Visitation will be on Friday, August 1, 2008, from 2-7 PM at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. A general memorial fund has been established.
