She is survived by loving husband Keith of Brooklyn, daughters Heather (Cody) Taylor of Brooklyn, Summer Lou of Brooklyn, son Anthony of Fort Collins, CO., three grandchildren Elody, Nikita, and Briella; her parents Earl and Marsha Taylor of Colorado Springs, CO., and her siblings, Linda Kay (John) Nehls of Gunnison, CO., Michael (Melissa) Taylor of Sandy, OR. Also surviving Raejeana are her nephews Aidan, Bryce and Carson Taylor of Sandy, OR.

Raejeana Mae Jay was a strong hearted woman. She was born in Colorado Springs, Co. This is where she spent her youth and early adult life. She was a fun spirited individual and devoted herself to Volleyball, basketball, and baseball before the sport was split into softball and baseball. Her love for sports grew within her children as she aged and became a mother.

She met her husband through an unusual mishap at her job at Home Depot. From this point they moved forward and built a relationship. One that is not for the weak. Keith is a U.S. Army Solider and led Raejeana’s life with her first born, Heather, through a military based life. She devoted herself to taking care of the home and children while Keith served in the military through five deployment’s, drill, and military conferences.

Part of devoting her life to being a loving, and devoted wife, she devoted herself to her children and their lives as they discovered their interests and hobbies. All three of her children partook in sports early on to maintain an active and social lifestyle. She traveled to support Heather when she played volleyball, softball, tennis and sang in the choir, Summer Lou in softball and art, and Anthony for baseball and football. While also taxing friends to events and her children to their place of employment as they grew older. She lived for her children and husband. Later on, she ensured she would attend her granddaughters’ events such as soccer games and music concerts that she could make. Part of her devotion included her beloved Monday’s taking her youngest granddaughter to dance class and their designated Thursday nights while Heather (Cody) attended meetings and trainings for Brooklyn and Malcom Fire Department. She was always available to help with her granddaughters when emergencies arose for fire calls so they could attend.

While her love for dropping things and working her life around her husband, children, and granddaughters was second to none, she did find her own personal hobbies in tending to her gardens over the years. Planting mum’s, iris’s, lily’s, snowball bushes, and many other blooming plants. She loved her flowers and the time she spent ensuring they were well taken care of. Alongside her gardening, she enjoyed relaxing in the evening at Krumm Preserve casting a line and enjoying some fishing! Nothing could compare to family outings at the lake and enjoying some small hiking and fishing along the edge of the water.

She loved her husband, loved her children, loved her granddaughters, loved her flowers, and loved fishing. She is cherished and loved dearly by family and friends. She is quoted to be a wonderful mom and “the bestest memaw ever”.
