Kalona-Rachel (Wagler) Graber, daughter of Joseph and Sarah (Lengacher) Wagler. She was born on March 14, 1924, died on December 19, 2020 at the age of 96 years, 9 months and 5 days. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Rachel was united in marriage to Homer Graber on February 3, 1942. He preceded her in death May 24, 2001. To this union were born 11 children, Leona (Levi Eicher) Belvidere, TN, Leroy (deceased) Alvin (Mary Edna) Riverside, IA, Sara Mae (Raymond Mast) Chili, WI, Esther (deceased) (Alvin M. Yoder and Esther) Windsor, MO, Miriam (deceased), Reuben, Atglen, PA, Frieda, PA, Philip (Dorinda) Sarasota, FL, Orpha (Monroe Ropp), Fannie (Delmar Hershberger) and Joseph (Karen) all from Kalona. Rachel also had 59 grandchildren, 147 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren. Rachel was also preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son, 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 4 sisters and 5 brothers, Martha, Mary, Anna and Magdalena, Joel, Noah, Ezra, Abner and David Wagler.
The family would like to thank everyone for the many acts of kindness and support shown to them at this time of loss. Your love and support will always be remembered.
Funeral Services will be 9:30 am Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Joe Graber Residence, 1014 Kiwi Avenue, Kalona. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday and Monday from 1:00 to 7:00 pm at the Joe Graber Residence. Burial will be at the Brenneman Cemetery.
