Phaymany Rasaphangthong, 48, of Mount Pleasant, IA, was pronounced at his home on Monday, March 24, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29th at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel. Cremation will be accorded following the services. Born June 4, 1965 in Vientiane, Laos, Phaymany Rasaphangthong was the fourth of five children to Ran and Khamphanh Rasaphangthong. Survivors include brothers, Sysonvanhn, Phamthouvath and Viensay Rasaphangthong all of Laos; a sister, Moo Rasaphangthong of France; an uncle, Sone Dary of Mt. Pleasant, IA; and many friends of the family.
