Peggy Ann Van Dee

North English- Peggy Van Dee was born December 28, 1957 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Robert E & Janice LuJean (Derby) Stephenson. She attended English Valleys High School.  On September 5, 1981, Peggy was united in marriage to Duane John Van Dee near South English, Iowa. She worked as a housekeeper at the English Valley Care Center. Peggy enjoyed reading, listening to old country music, garage sales and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved Halloween! Peggy died on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the English Valley Care Center in North English, at the age of 64 years.

She is survived by her husband Duane of North English; a daughter Wendy (Buck) Holland of Atlanta Georgia; two sons Josh (Sonja) Icenbice of Keswick and Tyler (Leigh) Van Dee of Ely; six grandchildren Lacy, Gabby, Dylan, Peyton, Corbin & Charleigh; four sisters Brenda Lown of Tiffin, Cathy (Ron) Fry of Sigourney, Rhonda Hibler of Oskaloosa and Dana Aubrecht of Nichols; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents; a granddaughter Jozie; and two brothers Robert Alan & Larry Stephenson.

Celebration Of Life Service will be held 4:00 pm on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Powell Funeral Home in North English. Visitation will be Friday, from 2:00 pm until service time at 4.
