Pearl Marie Lane was born October 14, 1965 in Washington, Iowa the daughter of Dennis and Arlena (Sharon ) Tinnes. She graduated from Keota High School and Indian Hills Community College with a degree in Cosmetology. On May 24, 1986 she was united in marriage to Robert Lane in Keota. Pearl has lived her entire life in the Keota community where she was a cosmetologist. She was a member of the Keota United Church of Faith. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter Brittany, photography, sewing and quilting. Pearl died on Monday, August 15, 2005 at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa following a brief illness at the age of 39 years. Pearl is survived by her husband Robert; daughter Brittany; mother Arlena Tinnes; brother James Tinnes and wife Kimberly; two sisters - Paula Orr and husband Tim; Patty Tinnes all of Keota; two nephews - Jason Tinnes and wife Elisabeth; Benjamin Orr; 3 nieces - Jessica Mahan and husband Nick; Melissa Orr and Hannah Orr. She was preceded in death by her father Dennis; grandparents - Frances Sharon, James Sharon, Petie Tinnes, Pearl Tinnes; and one uncle LeRoy Tinnes.
A Memorial Funda has been established for Brittany Lane's education.
