Williamsburg- Paul James McDaniels was born March 31, 1966, in Gardner, Kansas, the son of Paul Dean and Donna Lee (Horn) McDaniels. He graduated from Wellsville High School, Wellsville, Kansas. He married Donna Stambaugh and later divorced. Paul then was united in marriage to Shawntell Renea Pollick in Centerville, Kansas in 2003. He lived in Kansas most of his life where he owned and operated All City Carpet for 17 years, before moving to Williamsburg in 2011. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, watching football with his boys on Sundays and spending time with family and friends. Paul died on Friday, January 24, 2014, at his home in Williamsburg at the age of 47 years. He is survived by his wife Renea of Williamsburg; four sons: Ellis McDaniels of Warrensburg, MO, Trevor McDaniels of Williamsburg, Zachary McDaniels of Kansas City, KS and James McDaniels of Williamsburg; two stepdaughters: Kathleene Cardinal of Leavenworth, KS and Samantha Casteel of Overland Park, KS; a stepson: Mitchell Huffman of Wellsville, KS; three grandsons: Weston and Marshall Cardinal and Sean Casteel; his father Paul of Ottowa, KS; stepmom: Donna McDaniels; a sister Debbie Hensley both of Wellsville, KS; and a brother Daved Wayne McDaniels of Blue Springs, MO. He was preceded by his mother Donna McDaniels. Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00am on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Williamsburg. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com under obituaries.
