North English Patricia Ann Klipp, age 82, died on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at the English Valley Care Center in North English. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church in Millersburg on Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Pastor Paul Nus will officiate. Visitation will be at Powell Funeral Home in North English from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, June 3, 2013. Burial will be in the South English Cemetery. A general memorial fund has been established. Patricia Ann Klipp was born on April 11, 1931, near South English, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph Peter and Velma Ruth Higgins Ruplinger. She grew up in the South English community and graduated from South English High School in 1948. Patricia was united in marriage to Carl Frederick Klipp on October 10, 1948, in Millersburg, Iowa. She and Carl farmed in the South English and Webster communities before moving into North English in 1988. Carl preceded her in death in September 2004. Patricia was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Millersburg, the LWML, and was a former member of the Union Busy Bees. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's ball games and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes basketball and football games. She is survived by a daughter Cheryl (Edward) Hervey of South English; two sons Gregory (Monica) Klipp of Webster and Kenneth Klipp of North English; six grandchildren: Michael (Denise) Hervey, Cindy Menke, Brande (Toby) Lehman, Sarah (Josh) Hettinger, Becky Klipp (fiance Kevin Adrian) and Ashley Klipp; six great grandchildren; a brother Donald Ruplinger of North English; a sister-in-law DeLoris Klipp of Arizona; six nieces and nephews and many cousins. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl, brother-in-law Walter Klipp and sister-in-law Lelia Ruplinger.
