Pat Hagen

Homestead - Patricia Leah Hagen was born May 3, 1938, the daughter of Merritt and Vivian (Moore) Shaull. She graduated from Marengo High School, then attended cosmetology school in Cedar Rapids. Pat was united in marriage to Kenneth Martin Hagen on September 26, 1959 at St. John Lutheran Church in Marengo. She spent her time enjoying cooking, quilting, gardening, mowing the lawn and spending time with her family. She also volunteered at Rose Haven Nursing Home for a number of years. Pat was a member of St. John Lutheran Church near Homestead. Pat passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Rose Haven Nursing Home in Marengo at the age of 80.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth of 59 years; two sons, Mark (Irene) Hagen of Laveen, Arizona and Todd ( Wendy) Hagen of Homestead; four grandsons, Shawn ( Laura) Hagen, Gabe (Jesse) Hagen, Taylor (fiancée Hannah) Hagen and Tanner Hagen; a sister, Charlotte (Ron) Iberg of Austin, Texas and Ron (Rosalie) Shaull of Marengo. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, a son Brett Hagen and a sister Jeroldine Soar.

Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 am Monday, December 31, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church near Homestead. Burial will be at St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Memorials are for Essence of Life Hospice or St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
