Milly Criswell Conway

Milly Criswell Conway, age 101, of Brooklyn, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022. Per her wishes, there will not be any services. Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Milly is survived by her children Kim (Vicki) Criswell, of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Patti Schipani, of Ankeny, Iowa; a daughter-in-law Pauline (Tony) Kriegel, of Brooklyn, Iowa; five grandchildren, Eric (Terri) Criswell, of Prairie City, Iowa, Angela Hagen (Sam Bergner) of Denver, Colorado, Connie (John) Curry, of Custer, South Dakota, Carole (Eric) Wallace, of Red Oak, Texas, and William (Vickie) Criswell, of Barnes City, Iowa; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Freeman Criswell, a son Gary Criswell and her siblings.

Mildred Keller was born November 15, 1921 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd and Della Bertha (Graham) Keller. She received her education in the Brooklyn school district and graduated in 1939. Milly was united in marriage to Freeman Criswell, on June 22, 1941, in Kirksville, Missouri. She was employed as an office manager at Brownells, Inc. Milly loved to sew. She sold several items she sewed, at craft shows for many years.
