Williamsburg-Mildred "Millie" Mary Hulseberg daughter of Henry J. And Malinda "Linda" (Kuddes) Iburg was born on January 8, 1925 in Williamsburg. She was baptized on February 8, 1925 and confirmed on April 21, 1939 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. She graduated from Williamsburg High School. Millie was united in marriage to William George Hulseberg on October 6, 1946 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. During her life she worked at the Williamsburg Creamery, Holdens Foundation Seed, Williamsburg High School as a cook and was co-owner of the Williamsburg Lumber Store where she was the secretary. She was a life member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and a member of the Iburg Poulson VFW Post #8797 Ladies Auxiliary. Millie enjoyed sewing, doing needle work, cooking, baking and spending time with family. Millie passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg at the age of 91 years.
Millie is survived by her four children: Linda Garringer, Robert Hulseberg, David (Darla) Hulseberg, and Mark (Marilyn) Hulseberg all of Williamsburg. 11 grandchildren: Laura (Barry) Dietrich, Ben (Kim) Hulseberg, Quentin Hulseberg, Heather (Alex) Conrad, Krista Hulseberg, Ryan Hulseberg, Amy (Mike) Cook, Jody (Jenny) Garringer and Ted (Karen) Garringer, Rod (Lynnae) Garringer and Terry Garringer; 19 great grandchildren: Colton and Cooper Dietrich, Wes, Zoe and Wil Hulseberg, Masilyn and Kinsley Conrad, Abby and Emilie Mahan, Trenton,Chase and Jenson Cook, Steven, Allison and Jackie Garringer, Reis and Regan Garringer, Amanda (Ryan) Slade and Hiliary (Alex) Klyn and three great-great grandchildren: Makayla, Elizabeth and Olivia Slade. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William "Bill" December 21, 2015; 5 brothers: Arthur Iburg, Elmer Iburg, Herbert Iburg, Ed Iburg and Melvin Iburg; 2 sisters: Linda Iburg in infancy and Edna Wille and a son-in-law: Ralph Garringer.
Celebration Of Life Service will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, March 21, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. Burial will be in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. There will be a VFW Auxiliary Service at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family has established Williamsburg Historical Society or Williamsburg High School Kitchen Supply Fund.
