WELLMAN - Michael J. Humble was born February 19, 1993 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Brent and Crystal (Groff) Humble. He has lived in the Wellman community all of his life. He worked at EPC in Kalona. Michael died on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City at the age of 19 years. Michael is survived by his mother Crystal Humble and Larry Haynes of Wellman; his father Brent Humble of Iowa City; a brother Neil Humble of Iowa City; two sisters - Heather Humble and Beth Humble of Washington; grandparents Ron and Cindy Groff of Wellman; Marlene Humble of Iowa City, Judy and John Grover of Washington; and a niece and two nephews- Rylee, Jacob and Landon. He was preceded in death by a grandfather Neil Humble. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. A general memorial fund has been established.m
