Michael Eugene Garmoe

Michael Eugene Garmoe, age 70, died Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Cox Medical Center in Branson, Missouri.

Michael was born October 6, 1952, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, the son of Donald and Margaret (Ford) Garmoe.  He graduated from Mount Pleasant High School.  Michael was united in marriage to Debra Jean Fetterman on September 9,1972.   Michael worked as a reserve deputy for the Henry County sheriff office, he was a volunteer fire fighter with the Mount Pleasant Fire Department, and volunteered at old threshers working on steam engines.

Michael retired from Alliant Energy in 2014. He enjoyed collecting antiques in his spare time.                   

Michael is survived by his wife Debra, sons, Robert (Jennifer)Garmoe and Tony (Angie) Garmoe; grandchildren, Logan Garmoe, Alec Garmoe, Emma Garmoe, Tate Garmoe, Cody Remington, James Garmoe and Christopher Garmoe; a great grandson Jaxson Remington and a brother Richard (Mary) Garmoe.
