Melissa Diane Hale

Melissa Diane Hale, age 44 of North English passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Compass Memorial Hospital. Per her family’s request there will be no services at this time. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is assisting the family with arrangements.

Melissa is survived by her husband Robert Hale of North English; two daughters Raelyn Hale and Liz Ann Wubbena; her father, Rodney Sponamor of Branson, MO; her mother, Jean Layman; a brother Jonathon Sponamor; two sisters Shelly Bennett and Charissa “Nikki” Wilkinson.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Emily in infancy.

Melissa Diane was born on October 3, 1975 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was raised by her adoptive parents, Rodney and Jean Sponamor. She was united in marriage to Robert Charles Hale on August 22, 2008 in Iowa City, Iowa. Melissa enjoyed playing video games on her Play Station, watching zombie movies on Netflix, doing word searches and crossword puzzles, and loved to read.
