Harlingen, Texas- Max Earnest Snakenberg was born January 2, 1944, in Keswick, Iowa the son of Roy Earnest and Neta Erma (Sarver) Snakenberg. He graduated from Keswick High School in 1964, he went on to attend and graduate from Omaha Baptist Bible College and Dana College with a degree in education. He taught at Grandview Park Baptist School in Des Moines and Mercedes ISD and LaFeria ISD in Texas. On August 6, 1983, Max married Connie Ann Warnock at the Gospel Tabernacle in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Max was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Harlingen, Texas. He enjoyed playing the piano. Max died on Friday, December 20, 2024, in Harlingen, Texas, at the age of 80 years.


He is survived by his wife Connie; five sisters Margaret George, Phyllis Peterson, Laura Lee Ward, Loretta Pope and Carol Ensor; and two brothers Lyle Snakenberg and Dick Snakenberg. He was preceded by his parents; and a sister Rose Mary Stevens.
