Mary "Beth" Elizabeth Ruegsegger was born March 15, 1906 in rural South English, Iowa the daughter of Milo and Ruby (Richards) Miller. She graduated from South English High School and attended Coe College where she received her teaching certificate. On December 23, 1935 she was united in marriage to Leo Ruegsegger in Kirksville, Missouri. They lived and farmed in the Wellman community all of their married lives. She was a member of the World Wide Church of God and Farm Bureau. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and traveling. Beth died from complications of age on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Parkview Manor in Wellman at the age of 100 years. Beth is survived by a daughter - Bonnie Swift and husband Bill of Washington; 2 sons - Gordon Ruegsegger and special friend Kathy Landers of Fairfax; Marlo Ruegsegger of Wellman; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers - Ralph Miller, Rolland Miller, John Miller; and a sister - Edna Pfaff.
A Memorial fund has been established for the Wellman Ambulance.
