Mary Ropp

Mary Ropp, daughter of George C. and Fannie M. (Miller) Ropp was born on March 3, 1940, in Kalona, Iowa. She died at her home in rural Kalona on March 18, 2021 at the age of 81 years and 15 days. In her youth she was baptized and became a member of the Old Order Amish Church, where she was a faithful member at the time of her death.
Surviving are her sister Lydia, with whom she made her home; 3 brothers, Edwin (Anna) Ropp, Wilbur (Verna) Ropp, Norman (Mary Jane) Ropp and one sister in-law Anna Mae Ropp all of Kalona; many nieces and nephews and other friends and relatives. Preceding her in death were her parents, 2 brothers Eldon and Lloyd; and 1 infant brother Henry.
The family thanks everyone for the acts of kindness shown to them during this time of loss.

The Funeral Service will be 9:30 am Monday March 22, 2021 at the Norman Ropp residence. Visitation hours are the following Saturday March 20 starting at 10 am then Sunday March 21 starting at 10 am at the Norman Ropp residence in rural Kalona.
