SIGOURNEY- Mary Klett, age 63, of Sigourney, died on Friday, December 24, 2021 at her home in Sigourney, surrounded by her family.
Mary was born April 13, 1958, in Sigourney, the daughter of Kenneth and Dolores (Crampton) Pfannebecker. She graduated from Sigourney High School in 1976 and received her LPN from Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa. Mary was united in marriage to William "Bill" Klett on July 30, 1983. She worked as a nurse at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Manor House Care Center, Sigourney Care Center and Maplewood Manor in Keota. Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Mary loved watching the birds and squirrels and caring for her cats, Angel and Gracie.
Survivors include her son: Jake (Rebecca) Klett; three grandchildren: Troy, Cole & Lorelai Klett, all of Sigourney; two brothers: Mike (Joyce) Pfannebecker of Sigourney and Paul (Cindy) Pfannebecker of Waseca, Minnesota and two sisters: Jennifer Hanson of Atlantic and Andrea Kerkove of Oskaloosa. She was preceded in death by her parents: Kenneth and Dolores Pfannebecker and husband: Bill on December 18, 2021.

A Celebration of Life will be held from noon until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Jake & Rebecca's home, 23595 280th Ave, Sigourney. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
