Martin White

Wellman- Martin Glenn White was born December 30, 1946, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Glen and Amy (Martin) White. He graduated with the first class of the Mid Prairie High School before attending Muscatine Collage. Martin joined the Army on November 21, 1968, where he severed two tours in the Vietnam War before being discharged November 13, 1974. Martin worked for Delicious Foods for 25 years as a sales manager before retiring in 2012. After Martin retired, he enjoyed helping Chuck Martin out on the cattle farm in rural Williamsburg. Martin also enjoyed old western movies hunting, fishing, and being on the farm. Martin passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the Washington County Hospital at the age of 76 years.

Martin is survived by two sisters, Crystal (Gary) Tschantz of Davenport and Cynthia (Craig) Schlabaugh of Wellman and a niece Kelly (Andy Levy) Tschantz.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
