Margaret Miller was born February 10, 1923 in Milford, Nebraska the daughter of George S. and Katie (Miller) Miller. She did housecleaning for many years in Iowa City. She was a member of the Wellman Mennonite Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed going to the Senior Center for lunch, putting puzzles together, reading books, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, both football and basketball, and babysitting in her earlier years, as she loved little children. Margaret died from complications of pneumonia on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City at the age of 83 years. Margaret is survived by a brother - George Miller Jr. and wife Darlene of Wellman; 2 nieces - Barb Kauffman and husband John of Wellman; Betty Stumpf and husband Randy of Kalona; great nieces and nephews, Kim Stumpf of Kalona, Tonia Johnston and husband Steve of Riverside, Brandon Kauffman of Scottsdale, Arizona, Brent Kauffman of Coralville, Angie Kauffman of Iowa City; great great nieces and nephews, Cailee, Ashlin and Dakotah Stumpf and Avery and Brayden Johnston. She was preceded in death by her parents.
