Margaret Ann Greenlee

South English- Margaret Ann Greenlee was born September 9, 1930 in Victor, Iowa, the daughter of W.C. & Myrl (Tanner) Rehfeldt. She graduated from Victor High School in 1949 and later Iowa State Teacher's College in Cedar Falls. She taught for a short time before she married. On September 23, 1956 Margaret Ann was united in marriage to Harold Dean Greenlee at the Victor Methodist Church. Together they lived and farmed near South English. Margaret Ann was a member of the North English United Methodist Church, the Fort Nightly Club and the UMW. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, working in the yard and helping Harold on the farm. Margaret Ann died on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the English Valley Care Center in North English at the age of 86 years.

She is survived by a sister-in-law Naoma Houser of Keota; a cousin Marian Shaefor of Spokane, WA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents; husband Harold in 2016 and two brothers Russell and Robert Rehfeldt.

Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:30 am on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Powell Funeral Home in North English. Burial will be in the South English Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5-7 pm at the Powell Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the North English United Methodist Church or the English Valley Care Center.
