Marcia Hester

Conroy-Marcia Sue Hester was born July 13, 1970, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Leroy and Patricia (VanDyke) Wille. She graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1988. She attended William Penn College, Kirkwood and Walden University. Marcia was united in marriage to Brian Hester on July 3, 1999 at the Welsh Church in Sharon Center, Iowa. Marcia worked as a RN and later an ANRP through out the state of Iowa. She enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and spending time with family and friends. Marcia died on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City at the age of 54 years.

She is survived by her husband Brian; two sons, Dalton (Regina Andrews) Hester of Belle Plaine and Sean Hester of Conroy; a granddaughter, Amber; special nieces, Lucille and Bridget Wille; her mother, Patricia Wille of Conroy; two brothers, Matthew Wille of Cedar Rapids and John (Gina) Wille of Newhall. She was preceded in death by her father Leroy.

Celebration of life visitation will be Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. A memorial fund has been established to help with funeral expenses.
