Mae E. Miller

Mae E. Miller, age 91, of Marengo, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Rose Haven Nursing Home, in Marengo. There will not be any services at this time. Inurnment will be at the Marengo Cemetery at a later date. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mae is survived by her brother George (Liz) Miller, of Alamo, Texas; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Harold, Ralph, Herbert, Katherine, Lester, Marvin, Mary, Evelyn and Alice.

Mae Edna Miller was born November 27, 1931, in the rural Hilton Township. She is the daughter of Leslie and Edna (Wyant) Miller. Mae graduated from Conroy High School May 19, 1949. She was employed as a secretary at various businesses in Cedar Rapids. Mae was a very independent woman. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening.
