Madonna G Droz

WELLMAN - Madonna G. Droz, 93, of Wellman, passed away at her home on Sunday, September 2, 2018. Per her request she has donated her body to the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. There will be no visitation. A mass will be said in her memory at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wellman at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Wellman Scofield Public Library and the Goodwin Senior Center in Wellman.
Madonna was born September 27, 1924 in Clayton County, Iowa, the daughter of Elmer and Elsie (McNally) Trudo. She graduated from Clermont High School. On July 2, 1947 Madonna was united in marriage to Jack T. Droz in Clermont, Iowa. They moved to Wellman in 1950. Madonna was the secretary at Wellman Elementary for 22 years, retiring in 1988.
Madonna is survived by a daughter, Michele Droz Tyler of Wellman, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack, a son David, and three brothers.
