Linda Lynette Sutter, 58, of Stockport, IA, died Thursday, February 6, 2014, at her home, following a brief illness. Visitation will be held beginning at 12 noon, on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel where the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. that evening. There will be no formal services. Inurnment will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery at a later date. A memorial has been established and may be directed to the family for medical expenses. Born December 9, 1955 in Keosauqua, IA, Linda Lynette was the daughter of James Wendell and Janice Lillian (Niece) Anderson. She graduated from Harmony High School in 1974. She married Dennis Collins, on December 26, 1973, in Farmington, IA. The couple later divorced. On September 5, 2009 she married Jerry Sutter at their home in Stockport, IA. Lynette had worked at Riverside Plastics in Bonaparte, IA and the Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua, IA. She then lived in Texas for 18 years. Upon moving back to Iowa, she worked in sales at Hearth and Home Technologies for many years. With a deep passion of the outdoors, Lynette enjoyed camping. She loved animals and had birds, dogs and horses. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Jerry, of Stockport, IA; a son, Shane (Lydia) Collins of Austin, TX; a daughter, Lindsay (Brian) Cravy of Brownsville, TX; two step-daughters Amanda (Jeff) Cook of Chandler, AZ and Lacee (Jeremy) Nansen of Okinawa; her grandmother, Thelma Niece of Ft. Smith, AK; 12 grandchildren; three sisters, Kim Anderson of Hillsboro, IA, Zoe Anderson of Stockport, IA and Marcelina Stephenson of Texas; three brothers, Chris (Donna) Anderson of Arvada, CO, Kevin Anderson of Lakewood, CO and Milo (Lois) Anderson of Union, MO; two uncles, Bob (Patty) Anderson of Stockport, IA and Gene (Anna) Niece of Ft. Smith, AR; an aunt, Linda (Ira) Pintzuk of Alma, AR; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in law; nieces, nephews and cousins.
